IP-based video surveillance with dLAN® is the contemporary surveillance solution.

Video surveillanceThe importance of building surveillance continues to grow. Many customers already rely on IP-based video surveillance solutions because they offer considerable advantages. Cameras can be positioned flexibly within a building, and surveillance can take place either from a headquarters or via an encrypted external connection.

The only problem with IP-based video surveillance is that every camera requires a network connection. Since the cameras typically are not located where separate network access is available, dLAN® technology is a perfect solution. Each camera is simply mounted together with a compact dLAN® adapter. The adapters then use existing electrical wiring for data transmission. With AES encryption, the data are transmitted quickly and securely to the surveillance headquarters. Furthermore, a camera unit with dLAN® is extremely flexible and can be removed and reinstalled at another location with very little effort.

dLAN® is ideal for video surveillance solutions, for example, in the hospitality industry (hotel, hospitals) and for surveillance of public areas (garages, car parks, entrance ways, corridors, production facilities).
