Profile of devolo AG

Company profile

devolo AG was founded in 2002 as a management buy-out of ELSA AG and today is the leading European company in the inhouse powerline market.

The chief product of devolo AG is dLAN® (direct Local Area Network). dLAN® enables data transmission over household power lines and thus enables easy set-up of a network for Internet, audio transmission or IPTV (TV over the Internet). This innovative technology is excellently suited for use in private households as well as in properties used for business.

dLAN® can use not only household power lines, but also signal cables for transmitting data. So you can easily set up networks that use the existing infrastructure without the need to lay new lines.

devolo AG currently employs about 70 people at its location in Aachen, Germany. devolo operates internationally over a broad agent network in Austria, Switzerland, England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Benelux, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
