External ADSL modem with comprehensive security features

Aachen, September 11, 2002—The high-speed data transfers, the unique accessory equipment and the attractive blue housing are the main characteristics of the new MicroLink ADSL Fun USB from devolo, the networking and modem specialists from Aachen, Germany. The MicroLink ADSL Fun USB is the first in a series of devolo ADSL products that will be introduced to the market. The optically appealing transparent blue housing contains a modem that is extremely easily installed. Thanks to its USB interface it doesn’t need an external power supply—just connect it up and your DSL access is ready for use! Internet surfing, online gaming, downloads, e-mailing with large attachments—enjoy all of this without long waits thanks to download speeds of up to 8 Mbps and uploads at up to 1 Mbps.

Worthy of mention are the great all-round optional extras with the new MicroLink ADSL Fun USB. Apart from the usual drivers and cables, this modem is supplied with full versions of the renowned software NORMAN Personal Firewall and NORMAN Virus Control. This ensures that PCs are well protected from computer virus and from attacks from the Internet. Another accessory is the very useful “klickWeb” online classified directory.

The new devolo MicroLink ADSL Fun USB has already received praise in two recent tests:
