Specialist resellers can now become “dLAN partners” in a second stage of the devolo Partner Program that was launched in spring 2005. This status is awarded as a part of an exclusive program intended solely for the sale of dLAN products from devolo. Specialist resellers taking part in the dLAN Partner Program benefit from new services and effective support. devolo intends to use the new and improved Program to greatly increase the quality of advice that specialist resellers can offer consumers. The MicroLink dLAN series of network products use the household power circuit for data transfer and allow home networks to be set up with ease—with data transfer rates of up to 85 Mbps.
devolo is offering committed specialist resellers the chance to profit even more from the growing marketing in home networking. With their MicroLink dLAN series of products, devolo has been the market leader in HomePlug products for a number of years and has been the driving force in establishing home networking via power circuits. A variety of measures is intended to develop sales through specialist resellers. The “devolo dLAN partners” will play an important role in the future as they become established as local “competence centres” for power-circuit home networking by offering competent consultation and expertise. Specialist resellers who attain the “dLAN Partner” status will be in a position to demonstrate the MicroLink dLAN products and to offer optimal support in the planning of consumers’ home networks. It is devolo’s aim to gain 150 specialist resellers with “dLAN Partner” status this year. In the mid-term, “dLAN Partners” should be established in all major cities in Germany. These partners will receive special training, equipment, and designation. Support is provided personally by the devolo sales force and there is a dedicated hotline. What’s more, customers expressing an interest to devolo will be directed towards the “dLAN Partners”:
