According to a study by American market research institute Parks Associates, the number of home networks worldwide is set to double over the next five years. "The total number of households worldwide using a data networking solution will grow from approximately 80 million at the end of 2005, to nearly 145 million by the end of 2010," said Tricia Parks, CEO of Parks Associates.
