Networks will have to become more and more powerful in future. The requirements for data throughput and quality of service are increasing continuously. Topics such as Video on Demand (VoD), Voice over IP (VoIP), IPTV (television via Internet) and streaming videos in buildings are becoming the focus of increasingly urgent attention. These applications quickly push WLAN networks to their limits. With its new dLAN business products, devolo enables you to set up powerful networks that meet these requirements in a convenient manner using existing installed signal cables, telephone cables or the household electrical wiring.

Along with the requirements for the networks, the complexity of the individual network components is also increasing. To help you navigate this, devolo provides Business Solution training sessions to familiarise you with our dLAN Business devices and how to use them, their typical applications and the technology on which they are based. The training sessions will give you an opportunity to gather experience with devolo Business Solutions that will enable you to quote, plan, install and manage solutions for different network requirements, particularly for large-scale projects.

As a participant in the devolo Business Solution training session, you will be certified and have the exclusive right to use Business Solution Support.

Therefore, in future, devolo will offer training sessions for Business Solutions in Aachen, Germany, at six-week intervals:

The 2-day training sessions are scheduled for the rest of the year as follows:

16th and 17th September Registration deadline: 02.09.2008
29th und 30th October Registration deadline: 15.10.2008
10th und 11th December Registration deadline: 26.11.2008

jeweils von 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Objective of the training session:

  • Familiarisation with devolo Business Solution products, their features, options and typical applications
  • Basics of Powerline Communication (dLAN)
  • Planning and project engineering of dLAN networks
  • Hands-on practice using the devices and tools, installations
  • Special features of the mains wiring dLAN environment
  • Special features of the coaxial network dLAN environment

Participants in the training session will receive certification, giving them exclusive access to devolo Business Solutions Support

The registration fee is 499 € (incl. VAT), which includes:

  • 2 days of training
  • 2 dLAN 200 AVpro2 devices
  • Accomodations for 1 night incl. breakfast
  • Beverages and lunch on both days of training
  • Colour printed project manual
  • 1 set of marketing documents for devolo dLAN Business Solutions devices


Minimum number of participants for each training session: 6
Maximum number of participants for each training session: 14

Depending on the preferred language of the group, the training session is offered in German or English.
