devolo presents a new product, dLAN® CheckBOX, for the first time at the ANGA CABLE exhibition

The global market leader in the HomePlug powerline segment, devolo AG of Aachen, Germany, is debuting with its innovative HomePlug solutions for the B2B market at the ANGA CABLE exhibition. The exhibition, held in Cologne from 26 – 28 May 2009, is regarded as Europe's leading broadband trade fair and is one of the most important business market places for cable, broadband and satellite TV. devolo is focusing its trade fair presence primarily on the segment of coax-based HomePlug infrastructures and is presenting a newly designed complete broadband solution for the hospitality sector with the integrated dLAN® CheckBOX accounting module.

The powerline specialist devolo AG is exhibiting this year for the first time at the ANGA CABLE exhibition, Hall 10.2, Stand H47, in Cologne. The company is using Europe's leading broadband trade fair to present its innovations in the B2B segment for property management companies, hoteliers and clinics. System providers that are interested in the sales of devolo products for professional use can also learn about the partner programme from devolo.

dLAN® as an asset for increasing the value of leased properties
With products for networking with HomePlug, companies from the residential housing sector can now fall back on a wide portfolio from devolo that offers the right solution for every application. This way, complete broadband HomePlug infrastructures can be implemented hassle-free in large buildings with a large number of residential units. The sub-distribution system of the broadband signal to the residential units uses the building's existing cable infrastructure, such as coax cables. This is not only cost-effective, but also does not require any large-scale construction measures on the building. In addition, broadband Internet offered by a landlord represents a genuine increase in the value of the leased property.

devolo shows complete broadband solution with dLAN® CheckBOX accounting module
devolo is celebrating a genuine premiere with dLAN® CheckBOX, a new complete broadband solution for the hospitality sector. This network solution involves a HomePlug infrastructure that can be installed cost-effectively by using a building's existing wiring. Thanks to the modular hardware design, WLAN zones can also be set up in buildings, for example using the dLAN® 200 AVpro host wireless N. This way, all rooms can be supplied with broadband Internet content.

The integrated dLAN® CheckBOX accounting module enables easy billing for Internet access and simultaneously meets the legal requirements for data storage. Through integration in existing hotel management systems (PMS), the software is integrated hassle-free. Thus the dLAN® CheckBOX also enables the investment in a HomePlug solution to be recovered in a short time.

dLAN® TV Sat – satellite TV in HD quality on TVs and computers
With the dLAN® TV Sat system, devolo has added the advantages of HomePlug technology to satellite reception: Until now, costly coaxial cables had to be routed for DVB-S reception. With the dLAN® TV Sat world, devolo provides simple and convenient reception of digital satellite television—no cables required. The technology is already available as dLAN® TV Sat PC for TV reception on a computer. At the ANGA CABLE exhibition, devolo is presenting the dLAN® TV Sat HD receiver as a further enhancement, a fully equipped set-top box for digital satellite television in HD quality that also displays the DVB-S signal on a television.
